Workshop Presenters Wanted

Thanks for your interest in presenting a workshop for the first ever Career Day Expo, on Thursday, February 6 from 9am-3pm at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, located at 5637 Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC 29212

We’re seeking hands-on, interactive workshops geared for teens/high schoolers (8th grade+, ages 13-18). The schedule allows for 4-5 groups to rotate thru the various workshop stations/classrooms in groups of 20-25 participants.

There’s one workshop scheduled already that will showcase various trades to fill the skills gap. Your workshop would be the same content repeated throughout the day or you could alternate topics. There is no charge to be a workshop presenter.

We also have a vendor hall if you’d have any additional representative who could be stationed in that area as well. Interactive stations and take-home flyers/information are recommended. The vendor spaces are only $50 (which includes promotional links on the event website and across our social media).

We’re anticipating 125 students, plus their parent chaperone. Approximately 250 attendees for the day.
