SCAIHS is often called by their initials pronounced as a word “skays”. Note that SCAIHS is the only homeschool association organized under Option 2 laws.
Cost:
Membership fees start at $385 a year. Payment plans are available.
Application available year round
Member Services: Membership documents, educational and curriculum counseling, Permanent records are kept for each student, DMV letters, class ranking, assistance with scholarship applications, assistance with NCAA applications (as much as NCAA allows), interscholastic report cards, education verification for graduates, high school diploma, official transcripts for seniors, 15% discount in SCAIHS bookstore.
Optional: Woodcock-Johnson testing, Iowa group testing. Special needs department: maintain or write IEP, or 504, assistance with applications for accommodations from the College Board.
Record Keeping Due: online reports 3 times a year, the final report is due June 7, annual standardized testing required for students in grades 3-11.
